I have been enjoying my new found coasty-ness (mayte) and exploring areas that I didn't even know existed. First up Long Jetty. It is an absolute mecca for second hand shopping on the Central Coast, everywhere you look there are op shops, antique stores and vintage boutiques.
We had two very hot and tired toddlers in tow so I didn't get to spend as much time there as I would have liked but next time I will come prepared. (childless)
To be honest I underestimated how lovely Long Jetty would be. There are so many shops to dig through but I took some pictures of my faves.
1) Dapper Darlings: Local art, vintage clothing, handmade lovelies and super cool, gift bearing owners.
2) The Bowerbird Project: Upcycled furniture, Mexican art, handmade bits and bobs for kids and growed ups.
3) The Glass Onion Society: Vegan eats, manly art, vintage and new colothing and accessories. Plus cool events.
4) Scout enjoying some of my finds.
5) A cute little handmade map to guide you on your way.
