Making: Way too much stamped fabric.
Cooking: Soup, schnitzel, cup cakes and this fox cake.
Drinking: Red wine as usual.
Reading: No books actually, just blogs. Do you have any literary recommendations?
Wanting: To have a huge shopping spree for the kids but instead I'm just going to buy a few good quality winter items.
Looking: At my new blog header.
Playing: In the boat in my backyard. The chickens are mermaids, the grass is the ocean and I am the captain. You are no one.
Deciding: On how much is too much to spend on a first birthday?
Wishing: There was more wine in my glass.
Enjoying: The moments of quiet, kidding W.T.F is quiet?
Waiting: For the stuff I ordered from Growing Footprints. This, this and this.
Liking: Staying at home, I have moments of guilt that I should be getting out more but the boy likes home so home we shall be.
Wondering: I don't wonder much, we have Google now. Some people get all nostalgic about the time before, but I refuse to believe that having access to the majority of knowledge of human civilisation could ever be a bad thing. If you can't figure out how to make that enrich your life then it's not Google's fault.
Loving: My kids. The lady is so complex now, she seriously keeps me on my toes but god do we have fun together, we especially love singing 'Let It Go' at the top of our lungs. And my little man, he is always busy so I have to wrestle cuddles and he's such an adventurer that I cant co-sleep with him but I just want to chew him and eat him good.
Pondering: How I can support Aussie brands with my tight budget. The kids need new clothes and I want to avoid chain stores but I just can't afford $40 t-shirts. If you are going to ethically source, produce and sell your gear it needs to cost that much - there is no way you can responsibly produce anything for $11.95 and I totally get it, but when the kids need something, that's about the budget I have.
Considering: Running away to a tent somewhere warm, shaving my legs and whacking on a bikini. Avert your eyes people.
Watching: Vintage Grey's Anatomy.
Hoping: And wishing and dreaming and playing (I have no idea what the words are to that song.)
Marvelling: At Mum's of small kids who work full time, even Georgie isn't immune, the wall is starting to crumble - it seems more and more mums are admitting that it is really bloody hard and some are even deciding that it isn't worth it.
Needing: Sleep, sweet, sweet, uninterrupted sleep.
Smelling: The fishy smelling bum cream I put on Squawk, he rarely gets nappy rash but when he does it's hard core and the only cream that works smells like castor oil. But you should totally buy it, we have tried everything else and the is the shiz.
Wearing: Lululemon pants, a Casa Kuma tee, a Boxy necklace and red wine lips. Oh and my new waterproof ugg boots. Seriously, this is some sort of bogan pinnacle.
Following: My kids, why fight it, they know what they need - I just have to listen and occasionally pull rank.
Noticing: Other peoples perfect eyebrows, this tends to happen when I'm overdue for a pluck.
Knowing: That I'm really lucky in life, but my luck is notoriously bad when it comes to random things though. Like, if you're a bird you will probably poo on my head.
Thinking: About ways to make money instead of ways to save, because I saw some pin-quote that said, rich people focus on making money, not saving it. And I kinda want to be them.
Feeling: Happy, a bit tired, a tad Groundhog Day and a lot excited.
Admiring: Bloggers that have photographer husbands. It would be nice.
Sorting: Nothing, my house is always pristine and clean.
Buying: Groceries and petrol, can I get a hell yeah?
Getting: on with it.
Bookmarking: Things for my wishlist, it means I can stop pining through pinning.
Disliking: The stupid tree that is dropping sap on my new car. It is pissing me off but the council wont let me get rid of it, even though it is under a power-line and looks as though it is the 'Y' in from YMCA.
Opening: Nothing unhealthy, I'm a total earth mama.
Giggling: About the fact that my daughter has started swearing, she was instructed to put her P.J pants on the other day and as she was trying to line them up and step in to them, it turned out she was actually holding the top of said P.J's - I heard a little voice mutter, what the f$#*, before turning sweetly to a shocked Pac Man and myself me and saying, this is a top! I really didn't think I swore in front of her, turns out I was wrong. Oh dear.
Wanna take stock too? Grab a list here from the ever lovely Pip. - p.s Pip is thinking about making a little diary book with these lists in them so we can dust off the old pens and get all 90's diary style. Ohhh she should totally put one of those little locks on it! Wanna read my other Taking Stock Posts?
